Below is a partial group of pictures showing a clutch replacement due to the fact that the Main Clutch Disc was stuck [would not release]. When you pushed the clutch pedal down ...... all it would do is grind the gears. Once the clutch was out a hammer was needed to break it loose from the pressure plate [really stuck/glued]. Pieces of the clutch disc stayed on the pressure plate. The clutch disc was worn uneven and was getting close to the rivets in one spot due to improper clutch adjustment ..... it was not to far from a clutch job any way. There were heavy signs of moisture inside the bell housing, fly wheel and clutch which is the reason of it sticking to the pressure plate. It had a China Loader and Back Hoe attached which had to be removed. When taking the loader off the bolts were loose on both sides of the bell housing where the brackets attach[thinking this is where/how the water got in]. The drain hole in the bottom of the bell housing was plugged. The inside of the bell housing was sprayed with penetrating oil and later it soaked in. It cleaned up well and went back together nice.

Jinma 254 Clutch with One Piece Hood
The pictures below shows a clutch job that came in the shop with the problem that it would not move / pull when put in gear. As we split the tractor the center spline hub on the main clutch disc fell off. The rivets that hold the spline hub to the main disc had sheared off. It shows that the rivets had worked loose and egg shaped the holes before the rivets sheared.
We also found that gear oil from the transmission was leaking into the bell housing. We found no oil on the clutch linings.
We repaired the oil leak, install a new clutch pack assembly with release bearing & pilot bearing, ensured the drain hole was clear in the bottom of the bell housing.
The flywheel was removed so we could inspect the rear main seal and the torque / tightness of the bolts.
